Langtang Region Trekking

Langtang Valley lies south of the Tibetan border inhabited by Tibetans and Tamang people who share common religion, lifestyle and language. It is also the closest trek to the Kathmandu valley which is sandwiched between the Himalayan range to the north and a slightly lower range of snowy peaks to the south. Our trekking to Langtang region commences by a drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi leading to Langtang area. It is also home to Langtang National park which is the second largest national park of Nepal which saves animals such as Himalayan black dear, Himalayan goat, Rhesus monkeys and red pandas. We pass through lush green oak and rhododendron forests and even cross glacial moraine on our way to the tamang village of langtang.
