After multiparty democracy in Nepal, rule has been changed together with new democratic constitution regulation and opened for visiting the most inaccessible and firmly controlled area in Nepal. The regulation designed primarily to protect the environment and cultural of the remote regions and provide the security and safely for both foreign trekkers and Nepal's northern boarder with China.
The treks must be fully arranged through registered Trekking Company. It has to be fully equipped with tent, all Support staffs, cooks, etc. The trekking agency arranges the trekking permit through a series of applications and guarantees letters. You cannot trek along in the restricted area. You should be at least 2 people in the group. Each group has accompanied with a government environmental officer.
